DESIGN & STYLE

KTM 1290 Super Duke R has a sharp headlight with daytime running lights and a cool exhaust design with an overall stunning looks . It has a powder-coated Chromium-Molybdenum-Steel Trellis frame while the carbon fiber is used for other parts. It has Bosch 9ME braking system combined with ABS and Traction Control and thus also guarantees the safety aspect. It has WP suspension system which includes 48mm diameter Upside-Down forks with gas pressure reservoir at front and Monoshock Absorbers at rear. It has a large wheelbase of 1482mm or 1494mm for a stable ride and a good ground clearance of 140mm for a bump-free ride.The fuel tank capacity is 18 litres. The weight of this spectacular bike without fuel is 189 kgs.




ENGINE & GEARBOX

KTM 1290 Super Duke R comes with a 1301cc, 2-cylinders, 4-stroke, Liquid-cooled, Hydraulically-operated PASC Slipper Clutch, Pressure Lubrication with 3 Eaton pumps, Double-ignition, Keihin EMS with DBW, 75degrees V-twin RC8R engine providing a maximum power of 180 bhp at 8870 rpm and a maximum torque of 144 Nm, out of which 100 Nm comes at 2500 rpm.The engine of this bike is mated to a six-speed manual transmission. The engine has a bore and stroke of 108mm and 71mm respectively. 


SPEED
It reaches 0-200 kmph mark in just 7.2 seconds with low fuel consumption.


INSTRUMENT CONSOLE

It has different modes like Rain (smooth and limited power), Street (sporty, effective and super-swift) and Plus (ABS and even deactivation modes for ABS and Traction Control). The bike has 320mm diameter front disk brakes with dual Brembo four pistons and radially bolted calliper at front while Brembo fixed mounted two-piston brake callipers at rear. It also has a perfectly illuminating instrument console with a digital speedometer, fuel gauge and 2 trip meters, an analogue tachometer, low fuel, oil and battery indicators and a high oil temperature indicator. It has a self-start, a pass light and even a stand alarm.
