Bajaj V

Bajaj  finally launched the motorcycle made from the Invincible metal of INS Vikrant in India and named it 'V15'.Bajaj says, that fuel tank of the motorcycle would be made from the recycled metal after the dismantling of the retired warship.


The design is a one of its kind offering in this new segment, termed as premium commuter by the motorcycle maker.Bajaj also hints at a limited production of 20,000 units a month.

DESIGN & STYLE
 Talking about the design the headlight is standered.The fuel tank gives a fatty look.Bajaj has treid to give a classic and different look to it from rest of it's models.but the main attractive part of the bike is it's rear end with a excellent tail lamp with a great overall pannel design.




INSTRUMENT CONSOLE
 The round dial gets an analogue speedometer and odometer. The neutral light and fuel indicator is housed in the oval surrounding. Both the areas are silver outlined and looks good with the overall design of the motorcycle.

























ENGINE & GEARBOX
The engine powering the V15 is a simple 149.5 cc, 1-cylinder air cooled unit with twin spark technology. It produces just 11.83 BHP @ 7500 rpm and 13 NM @ 5500 rpm. The gearbox used is a 5-speed manual unit.



BRAKES,TYRES & SUSPENSION
Bajaj has equipped the V15 with 240 mm of front disc brake and 130 mm drum brake for the rear wheel.
PRICE & SHADES
Bajaj offers the V15 in two shades, Pearl White and Ebony Black.The exact price of Bajaj V15 is Rs. 62,000 (ex-showroom Delhi), INR 62,820 (ex-showroom, Mumbai), INR 63,682 (ex-showroom, Chennai) and 65,495 (ex-showroom, Kolkata).
