Most Expensive Cars in the World: Top 5

Most Expensive Cars in the World: Top 5

5. Bugatti Chiron ($2.6 million)

Launched in February 2016 (and rumors dating from Dec 2015), the Bugatti Chiron was designed to be the most powerful, fastest and one of the most expensive car in the world. It has a 1500 hp engine which can propel the car from 0-62 mph in just 2.5 seconds. It is widely recognized that it can top 270 mph, but some argue that it can even reach 280+ mph. We will need to see a confirmed speed run, but at the moment, we think that it should credibly take the top spot of this list. Only 500 units will be produced, and at $2.6Meach, it is also the fastest car in the world

3. Lamborghini Veneno ($4.5 million)

How can there be a most expensive cars list without a Lamborghini in it? The Lamborghini Veneno looks completely out of this world with a design similar to Sci-fi movies aircrafts. Only 9 of them went into production and all got sold even before the official release.

With an astounding design, it can top a speed of 350 km/h. It has a 740hp engine which is capable of reaching 0 to 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds.

2.Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita ($4.8 million)

The Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita might not be the coolest-looking or fastest in this list, but it still deserves the 2nd spot. Why? because its finish is literally made with diamonds! Koenigsegg has created a finish with carbon fibers and diamond dust impregnated resin, called Koenigsegg “Proprietary Diamond Weave”.

Along with the fancy diamond finishing, it is also great when it comes to speed and power: it has dual-supercharged V8 engine with 1,004 hp with a top speed of 254 mph
