Mini had announced the arrival of the Clubman at the Auto Expo 2016.
EXTERIOR
Mini Clubman looks like other Mini having round headlamps flanking the large horizontally slatted oval grille which seems to be gaping too much in this case.
It gets six doors, two each for the two comfortable seating rows and the barn doors for a substantial boot to stow away the baggage.
INTERIOR
Mini Clubman has a nice interior with several features as infotainment screen, the dials, the switches, knobs and many more.It gets automatic climate control, rear AC vents, cruise control, steering mounted audio controls and other creature comforts befitting a premium car.
ENGINE
It is powered by a 2.0-litre 112bhp turbocharged diesel engine that develops 270Nm of torque from 1750rpm.And it is mated to a six-speed automatic gearbox powering the front wheels. It may also get the 1.6-litre petrol engine option.
PRICE
The expected price tag is between Rs 40 to Rs 45 lakh ex-showroom.
LAUNCH DATE
It is expected to be launched in July 2016.
