The new Hyundai compact SUV will derive the boxy design cues from its concept. Feature like sleek headlamps with LED daytime running lights, side air intakes, front and rear skid plates, large wheels, roof carriers, suicide doors and square-shaped taillights could be borrowed from the concept.

ENIGINE & TRANSMISSION
This Hyundai compact SUV will come with a 1.0-litre T-GDI Kappa petrol engine with a high-pressure single-scroll turbocharger and direct fuel injection technology. The turbocharger, integrated within the exhaust manifold, offers better low end torque and response time. The new engine’s direct fuel injection system improves its combustion rates for achieving high power & mileage figures. The same powertrain does duty to European-spec i20. On the hatchback, this power mill churns out a maximum power of 98bhp and 171.5Nm of torque. Hyundai might offer a small capacity diesel engine on the compact SUV. Transmission options on offer could be – a 5-speed manual and a 4-speed automatic.
