DESIGN
The newcomer seems to be more focused on young riders, fascinating their dream bike with the engine of the most selling 125cc bike in India. The Shine SP comes with sporty touches all around its body. The rear end is sharp and more youthful than the normal CB Shine.New noticeable alloy wheel design looks perfect on the sporty new look of the CB Shine SP. The front headlight cluster looks inspired collectively from the Honda Livo.
INSTRUMENTAL CONSOLE
The analogue-digital instrument console on the motorcycle is all new and comes with a nice arrangement of dials and indicators. Starting from the left, the analogue speedometer is encased in a round pod with the digital odometer, fuel indicator and trip meter on the right inside a square shaped LCD panel. The extreme left keeps the turn indicator, neutral and high beam indicator.
ENGINE & GEARBOX
The engine on the CB Shine SP remains the same 124.73 cc, 1-cylinder air cooled unit. The refined motor has been mated to an all new 5-speed gearbox. The motorcycle produces 10.57 BHP @ 7500 rpm and 10.3 NM @ 5500 rpm. The performance feels hassle free for the first 60 kmph whereas the 5th gear provides a better highway drive with less vibrations and noise.
MILEAGE
The company claims a 65 kmpl of mileage from the motorcycle. It gets a 124 kg of body weight and comes with 10.5 liter of fuel tank, making it good for 500+ km.
BRAKES & SUSPENSION
The CB Shine SP comes with three options of braking systems. The base variant gets drum brakes on both the ends whereas the middle one comes with a front 240 mm of disc brake. The topmost version comes with Honda CBS, enabling better and safe braking for the motorcycle. It comes with the same telescopic forks as other Honda bikes at the front and traditional spring loaded hydraulic type suspension at the rear.
SHADES
The shades available for the CB Shine SP are Black, Athletic Blue Metallic, Rebel Red Metallic, Pearl Amazing White and Geny Grey Metallic.
PRICE
The Honda CB Shine SP comes with a starting price tag of INR 59,900. The disc brake version comes in INR 62,400 whereas the CBS version comes with a tag of INR 64,400.
